Bridge Programming

Our bridge program is a transitional solution to housing instability.

Everyone deserves to feel at home in the La Plata County community, regardless of their circumstances. Housing insecurity is a pressing issue, driven by high costs, and affecting hardworking individuals and families. It’s our collective responsibility to address this issue with compassion, empathy, and innovative solutions. Together, we can ensure that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, has a safe and affordable place to call their own. When all residents have the chance to flourish, La Plata County thrives. That’s why we’re committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who calls this beautiful region home.

Community Investment Alliance has executed bridge programming across the state for over two years in various communities. In La Plata County, innovative housing solutions like bridge programming are not a luxury – they’re a necessity. Bridge programming offers a lifeline to those experiencing housing insecurity, helping them regain stability and transition to permanent homes. It’s a vital link in our support system, ensuring that no one is left without a safe place to call home in a region where affordable housing is crucial. By investing in solutions like bridge programming, La Plata County demonstrates its commitment to the well-being and resilience of our community. Together, we can create a more equitable and compassionate La Plata County for all residents.

This can reduce the strain on emergency services, healthcare systems, and social programs, resulting in long-term economic benefits for the community.

  • Community Cohesion: Implementing alternative housing solutions encourages a sense of community and empathy. It brings residents together to address housing insecurity as a collective challenge, fostering a more united and caring community.
